At a young age, I fell in love with dogs and volunteered at a local rescue. During my senior year of high school, I took the Lancaster County CTC Veterinary Assistant Program and graduated with honors. I quickly realized I wanted more hands on experience and behavior knowledge of dogs, so I started working at Playful Pups Retreat in Elizabethtown, PA. I quickly fell in love with dog handling and appreciate the past 13 years working there. I felt a loving drive to help dogs with behavioral issues, so I started my formal education training with CATCH Canine Training Academy based out of New Jersey. I acquired a wealth of knowledge, on top of my many years of handling a large variety of dogs, to help me accel in this career field. I was a private dog trainer for Playful Pups for 4 years until I started Kindred Paws Dog Training in 2022, based on a passion for the dogs that need a little bit of extra help to thrive and fully enjoy life. Specializing in this, I see your dog and love them the way you do. I love helping them learn to rationalize their actions among themselves, other dogs, and children.
